Evaluation Plan
Students demonstrate their learning in the following ways:

 
ANIMATION - 40%
3 EXERCISES
Bouncing Ball     10%
Pendulum          10%
Walk Cycle        20%

SKETCHBOOK - 20%
The key to animation is to draw well and tell a story well.  
Sketchbook will be due in class beginning week 2.  A minimum of 5 
pages of drawings are required, including drawings of feet and hands, 
people from life, animals, places and locations and drawing from the 
students imagination.

STORY BOARDING - 20%
Students will work on a group photo assignment (worth 10% and a drawn 
assignment based on a simple storyline (worth 10%).

CHARACTER DESIGN - 10%
Students will design two characters and provide model sheets.

LAYOUT - 10%
Students will draw a basic layout with a background (based on designs 
provided and character placement) and poses.

Full participation and attendance is recommended for this course.  
Students who miss a class are responsible for any information 
discussed, assigned or distributed in that class period.
