Detailed Description
Prepare to write the Project Management Institutes (PMI) PMP credential examination with the Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Prep. This course is developed and delivered by industry-leading curriculum developers and trainers. The in-depth sessions incorporate a unique pace, style and study methodology that prepares you to successful write the credential examination. Eligibility to write the PMP exam is determined by PMI. Please Note: Course materials are provided on the first day of class by the instructor except for the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), 6th edition. Register early to guarantee materials arrive on time. No refunds will be issue after the start date. Withdrawal requests should be made 24 hours before the start date, for a refund of the tuition, less $50. Material fees of $175 are non-refundable once registered. Course materials are provided on the first day of class by the instructor except for the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), 6th edition. PMI and PMP are registered trademarks are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.

Course Critical Performance and Learning Outcomes

  Critical Performance:
By the end of this course, students will have demonstrated the ability to apply acquired knowledge to challenge the PMP exam to attain the PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential.
 
Learning Outcomes:

To achieve the critical performance, students will have demonstrated the ability to:

  1. Synthesize all aspects of Project Management as per the PMI -PMBOK and apply it to the PMP exam.
  2. Apply all knowledge areas and processes of Project Management to the PMP exam.
  3. Gain the essential preparation needed to pass the PMP exam.
  4. Focus on relevant exam topics and thus increase the probability of passing the exam.
  5. Explain the rationale and structure behind the way the exam questions are written, for faster comprehension and a more effective performance.
  6. Build a personal study plan that addresses individual's strengths and weaknesses.
  7. Effectively apply the concept of process of elimination to assist in answering questions correctly.
  8. Conceptualize, discuss and assess relevant information for the PMP exam.
  9. Practice PMP exam type questions and answers.
