Land Acknowledgement

In this workshop, participants learn how to effectively partner with management to identify and implement carbon and energy management strategies and plans.

Course Critical Performance and Learning Outcomes

  Critical Performance:
By the end of this course, students will have demonstrated the ability to articulate the benefits, opportunities and challenges associated with lowering organizational carbon emissions and energy consumption. Students will be prepared to provide meaningful input to and implementation of organizational strategies and plans for managing carbon and energy.
 
Learning Outcomes:

To achieve the critical performance, students will have demonstrated the ability to:

  1. Discuss carbon-related risks and opportunities for business
  2. Organizational strategy and goal-setting for carbon
  3. Describe steps involved with strategy and goal setting for carbon reduction
  4. Explain the methods for working with management on planning and implementation
  5. Articulate basic strategies for sequencing carbon and energy plans
